Summary

Nuclear medicine therapy is one of the systemic tumor treatment methods where radiopharmaceuticals are injected into the body and placed in the area that needs treatment. These radiopharmaceuticals emit radiation into the surrounding tissue. For the past decade, Korea’s traditional nuclear medicine therapy industry has remained stagnant while limiting the introduction of new nuclear medicine treatment methods; however, in the world, this field has been rapidly advancing with the emergence of new-concept treatments that are highly effective, such as transarterial radioembolization, radioimmunotherapy, neutron capture therapy, alpha-particle therapy, and targeted radioisotope therapy..........
